Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

Watch the video and read the instructions thoroughly before cutting any fabric!!!!!!! Also beware their is some difficulty, consider adding 2/8 of an inch to the block sizes. This will make your block slightly bigger than 12.5 thus room for trimming at the end to square up your block. Also this will allow for the normal 1/4 inch seam allowance. That's how I completed my block.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Unisex

Style: Funky, Classic, Mod, Traditional, Cute

Materials

100% Cotton Fabrics:Fat Quarters and Fabric Meterage. Mainly Blue coloured Fabrics with contrast of white and off white/cream.

What was your inspiration?

My love of Blue. Making these blocks although difficult have actually inspired be to be a better quilter by paying more attention to watching and listening to the instructors instructions. As well as reading the material thoroughly prior to cutting any fabric.

What are you most proud of?

Successfully completing the blocks, despite having to remake several of the components of each block. Achieving the correct measurement at the end!!!!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Ensure you have a friend that can help you if you get stuck. Read, listen and watch all the instructor's instructions.
