100% cotton yardage in Art Deco reproduction prints & solids

What was your inspiration?

Just following the excellent instructions in the video.

What are you most proud of?

This was my first experience with partial seaming. I was happy to find it easier than I thought.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

As Laura teaches, measure carefully before cutting and sew consistent scant 1/4 inch seams. One of my fabrics was not wide enough to yield 12 segments of the pieced strips so I had to cut an extra strip, even though I did line up the selvedges at one end. So be sure to have more fabric than you think you'll need.

Using that dark red in that position gives it a whirly gig look. Very nice.
