Quilting: February BOM

February BOM

Trivet BOM

Trivet BOM

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Cute

What was your inspiration?

This was a BOM from the February Craftsy class and I was not to happy with the way it turned out so I redid it in another colour.
I then thought to make this useful I would bat and back it and use it in the kitchen. It's bright and colourful and I love anything bright and colourful.

What are you most proud of?

I am very happy at how it turned out as I am very new to the world of Quilting and am loving it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just have a go ....its great fun

Your block is very pretty. It also looks quite puffy. What kind of batting did you use ?
