What are you most proud of?
My color combinations make me giddy! And I chose to add a strip of hammered satin (its hard to see in the photo, its silver and the middle of my strips) and I think it adds something special to the block.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I don't know what I did wrong on these, but I didn't get them to come out the correct size. My strips sewn together were only 5" rather than 5.5" But overall I think I figured out how to put them together. And I love the finished look!
My lighting was really bad for the photos, but you get the idea of what they look like.
