I saw the blue cross hatch one in a magazine, but, I don't think I can bring myself to do something that's not symmetrical at this point...maybe when I'm more versed on the whole quilting thing. I also have stayed away from anything round/circular right now as well...

wow crisp points...that is something I always have to work extra hard on. Good job. Can't wait to see it all together...is this going to be a 12 month block quilt?
