Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2013 with Laura Nownes »

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Traditional, Funky

What was your inspiration?

Amy Butler Fabics are so beautiful. It was hard to cut them up!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Seam allowance, seam allowance seam allowance. Still on the learning curve but slowly, painstakingly getting more accurate with cutting and stitching

This is so gorgeous and yes Amy Butler fabrics are hard to cut up! No matter how accurately I cut the fabric , I know what you mean by seam allowances! found it helps to move the needle one space to the right even when using the scant quarter inch foot. I have a Bernina 550QE and a PFAFF Ambition 1.5 and its the same with both of them. Love your Block!
