What materials did you use? Cotton from my stash

What are you most proud of? Ok, Ok I skipped ahead after I found the materials list had been added,(buy I know I'm not alone!!!) I absolutely HATED this block...Too fiddly by half and when you're trying to line up the seams they split open...nightmare! There is a fair amount of distortion too. I like the look but if I do another I'l either use stiffer fabric or make the blocks a more finger freindly 1 1/2 - 2 inch finished!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use tiny fingers and don't press open the seams. nest them instead! Came back for a second attempt using larger strips to complete a 9 inch block. 1/2 an inch larger strips equals an .absolutely lovely experience and result all round.

It is a tough block but yours looks amazing!
