What materials did you use? Scraps - some of the same blues as the January block, plus a blue and orange print and orange bars. I'm still working on matching the pieces up.

That's a very pretty block! Very attractive application of the complementary color lesson, both your mix of fabrics and your choice of block.

Actually, the January block was the first time I tried this block pattern. All these intersections give me a chance to work on getting things to meet up right and yet the block is also pretty simple. I used the strata piecing system on a different project that is next on my "to do" list to finish.

I love how you're taking the color theory class and doing your own thing! I've been watching each month, but not doing the "exercises." I like your idea so much better!
