What was your inspiration?
Have many batiks waiting to be used and this seems a good project to use them. Want to mix and match them within the different monthly blocks. Tried the bars with a medium dark brown which I also liked but ended using the orange in the centre.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Lay out your fabrics next to each other and remove the one that does not 'play' with the rest.
