What was your inspiration?

I like the pinks and reds as well as different blues and greens for Christmas colors. I'm trying to incorporate different scraps from different designers and hoping they will coordinate.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

When she says a scant quarter inch seam, she means a scant quarter inch. It's really important because it will turn out exactly 12.5 if you are careful about that.

Ooh! I have that striped fabric in my stack for this project too. I can't wait to see if we have more overlap in the fabrics we chose, and to see how your quilt comes out.
