What was your inspiration?

I wanted to try and make the 2012 BOM with all my Black and White fabrics - black is my background fabric.

What are you most proud of?

That it isn't even the middle of February and I have one of the FEB blocks done :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

What how you iron your seams, they get bulky and nesting seams is really important to align it all.

Look in the Craftsy BOM 2012 Amy Gibson class (is free) and look for block instructions under February - remember this is 2012. I still have not completed all my blocks for 2012 - but I will finish! :-)

l am just a newbee!! Love the block as stated before what size is it as l am looking for a 12 1/2 inch block for our guild 25th anniv. quilt any help would be appreciated. happy quilting

Sewpippy -- I haven't yet started (I've been super busy with other things)... but in preparation for starting I've been going through the pics and printing a few I really like (for ideas/inspiration). I have to fess up that your Balkan Puzzle is now in my desktop screensaver rotation. I LOVE what you're doing. So beautiful; so inspiring!

I am doing black and white too, but I love you block so much more than mine. I think I am going to reverse all the blocks and have double blocks and a quilt size quilt instead of a throw. I would enjoy seeing your other blocks too!!!
