What materials did you use? Cascade 220 Knitting Worsted

What are you most proud of? That I finished the sweater--I really didn't like the feel of the Cascade 220 and would not use it again.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't overthink the directions, just follow along and complete each step as it is presented.

This is very well done and perfectly blocked. I love the color and the buttons.

Thank you--I must confess that the sweater is wet blocked. I know Myra uses her steamer, but I would never do that. I almost always choose to wet block because it cannot damage fibers and can be reversed just by rewetting. The buttons are from my stash of vintage buttons.

Looks very nice.

I really like the look of this. I have been thinking about enrolling in this class, but felt the feather and fan was "too busy" for my taste. This version has my vote!

Looks great! Did you of a seed stitch band along the bottom as well? I'm thinking of doing that, and I really look like how yours looks.

Thank you--I used garter stitch, but seed stitch is one of my favorite edgings. It would certainly work for this sweater, my lace pattern has garter stitch in it, so that is what I chose for the edgings. I do wish I had knit it a bit longer...post a photo when you are finished so we can see it with seed stitch.

Very elegant.
