What materials did you use? cotton flannel, scrap batting

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a good way to try out the effect of different fillers with the feathers.

Thanks, everyone. I did use a curvy ruler to do the ovals. The wool batting gives a nice puff with the flannel.

Thank you! I quilted a number of crib sized quilts on my domestic machine and lots of practice burp cloths. I have been learning longarm quilting on my Innova for about a year.

The way you did the feathers with open spaces and filled with curved crosshatching! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
