What was your inspiration?
Feathers! I love peacock and wanted to create a non-flower boutonniere that had a modern and vintage feel using peacock as the star.
What are you most proud of?
The depth and texture of the buttonhole.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You could use so many different kinds of materials for a buttonhole and even stick a little "theme" that is personal to the groom and his men. Build one out of a golf tee and feathers, make a loop of guitar stings and add a pick or tie in a fly fishing hook. These days it is all about being personal with your wedding details.
