What materials did you use? It is so warm this winter in CA I can't wear my leather jacket. This is a poly faux pas that is really light weight.

What are you most proud of? I wear this jacket a lot!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If your tall check the arm length I added 1 inch.

I didn't make any other alterations to the pattern but next run I might make the jacket an inch longer. I didn't do a draping or muslin, I just did some quick measurements before I cut it out. I would say the pattern is pretty standard to a McCall's fit but for shorter people. I bought the buttons and used a fusible interfacing I use on knits and it worked out great. Best of luck!

I love your jacket! What fabric did you use? Where there any challenges with the material?

This is the best version of this jacket I've seen! It's not boxy on you, I'd buy the pattern based on the picture you posted! I've been umming and ahhhing about starting the course, for months as I need to learn the techniques but the pattern sleeve looked proper frumpy. Thank you so much for putting this up as I am now starting this tonight.
