What materials did you use? It is so warm this winter in CA I can't wear my leather jacket. This is a poly faux pas that is really light weight.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If your tall check the arm length I added 1 inch.

This is a stunning jacket and I like it very much. Did you cut it out to the exact pattern? I know you lengthened the sleeves but did you make any other alterations? Did you do a draping, for fit, first? How did you cover the buttons? Were you able to use fusible interfacing? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions

I didn't make any other alterations to the pattern but next run I might make the jacket an inch longer. I didn't do a draping or muslin, I just did some quick measurements before I cut it out. I would say the pattern is pretty standard to a McCall's fit but for shorter people. I bought the buttons and used a fusible interfacing I use on knits and it worked out great. Best of luck!
