Instructions
This was a 2 tiered cake covered to look like a bucket of beer. The cakes were a Red Velvet with Cream Cheese icing and a German Chocolate with Coconut Pecan frosting.The 'wood' planks were made with Wilton Fondant (I hadn't yet discovered Satin Ice) that were cut into planks. I used Vodka and dark food coloring to paint.

What was your inspiration?
It was Father's day and my husband loves beer! I saw a similar project online and loved the idea of the masculine cake.
What are you most proud of?
The color of the planks came out better than I expected.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is very simple project and one of the first cakes I made using fondant.
