What was your inspiration?

I live in a pinetree hollow, all Foxglove love acidic soil, I purchased 3 plants 2years ago. When the blooming show was complete I gathered every seed and planted them in three beds, Now I have over 100 blooming to my surprise..I enjoy sharing w/friends and Family...As I tell them..If you plant it..they will come....HUMMMMMMmmmmmmmmminnnnngg

What are you most proud of?

101 Fancy foxglove's all from seed...

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Dont worry so much about placement, you will know soon enough if it is good or bad, I move plants like furniture. Plant in layers, tallest to the back, plant in numbers for a dramatic effect..then sit back and watch the hummingbirds enjoy the bounty....

Absolutely beautiful. Purchased my first fox glove plant this summer but didn't realize it was a self sower, next season I will be sure to collect the seeds for replanting. Thanks for the tip.

Beautiful! I have found that the best placement of foxglove has been theit own selfseeding!
