What was your inspiration?
I saw several of these floating around the blog world a few years ago. I wanted mine to be in pretty aqua colors.
What are you most proud of?
The actual rules. The kids and I spent some time thinking up what we thought were our most important values. It took some time to whittle it down but I love what we ended up with.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't worry too much about being a perfectionist. It's more charming if the writing is a little bit wonky and if it's actually yours. You could even let each person of the family write a "rule".
