I altered the instructions a little. I used 1" elastic and folded over the hem twice so that I can let the skirt out when my daughter has a growth spurt. Since she is 3, it is likely that the waist will continue to fit as she grows and gets leaner. If not, I left about 1" of elastic inside the side seams on each end to allow for expansion.Difficulty:

I made the adult version this summer for myself and thought corduroy would be perfect for my daughter this year.
What are you most proud of?
Fabric choice. The fabric is buttery soft and adorable.
