What was your inspiration?

I have three nephews and while two of them were still young enough for cute and fun hats, I decided to knit these up. Jack (the model in the pictures) used his all last fall for all the great autumn activities.

What are you most proud of?

I love seeing my nephews smiling faces in this hat! Sizes go from baby to child.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid of the top section that uses double points. With the chunky yarn and the rest of the hat to keep the needle stable, it is a great project to work with DPNs.
