What was your inspiration?

My daughter asked for a BIG quilt. I had only been making baby and lap quilts and really didn't want to tackle a big one. It was difficult on a home sewing machine, but I finally got it done!

What are you most proud of?

That I actually did the quilting on it. I was afraid it was too big to handle and thought several times of sending it out. But I'm glad I didn't.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take the challenge and go beyond your comfort zone!

One quick question...how many different fabrics did you use?

I used two jelly rolls. One was the dark colors and the other various shades of ivory.

I really love using jelly rolls! All the fabrics coordinate and they are all different to give that scrappy look.
