What was your inspiration?
I love McKenna Ryan series art quilts, and especially wanted to do this one for my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas 2012. They've had a very long and trying few years travelling the road of adoption, not for the faint of heart, requiring a great deal of FAITH and HOPE. Now that their two beautiful children (one international) of their hearts have completed their family, their hearts (and Grandma's!) are overflowing with LOVE.
What are you most proud of?
That I actually finished a project! Believe me, although it's difficult to reach, I'm doing a lot of self-back-patting and self-high-fiving!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read the instructions thoroughly before starting...and then have fun! I sure did!
