Your sweater is beautiful! I am also making a size 32. Instead of following the chart for the back of the vest, did you have to alter the pattern on your back (starting behind your right arm) in order to make the vertical pattern work out (ie the correct X's and O's vertically over the other X's and O's below it)? Thanks so much - I really appreciate your advice! :)

How do I know if I'm a size S/M or a size L/XL? What are the actual finished measurements for the chest? Thank you for your help!

I made the smallest size - 32. My actual underarm to underarm measurement is 16.5 inches. I would consider making the 34-1/2 if I make this again.
