What needles did you use? US 4 / 3.5 mm

What materials did you use? Cascade 220 Sport; US-4 circular needles. Had to use 2 other brands to get enough blues. Jamison Spinthrift in China Blue & Berlini Merino Xtra in Cashmere Blue for the "X" in the main photo. I couldn't make row gauge , but Im not going to worry about it.

What are you most proud of? Making Stitch Gauge & getting the right color combinations.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the entire course all the way through first before jumping in to knit. As you watch it that first time, click on notes as you watch to type in a short identifying heading so you'll know what to go over more. Swatching for stitch size is essential to success for your correct vest size.

Someone on Ravelry asked me what I used for the 1st blue swatch: I not only used Cascade 220 blues color #9326 kind of a dark denim for ribbing, & #7818 Royal Blue a lot, a medium denim #9456, & light blue #8905 in 220 sport. I had to switch over to Jamisons for lighter blues in colors: China Blue & Cloud. It looks like I also used a Cascade 220 Sport in light pink #9477 and a Cascade 220 Sport #8903 lime green on one row & used Jamisons surf green with the same pink on another row. Of course I used natural in the Cascade sport 220. Then, I had to switch to yet another brand Berlini Extrafine Merino in color #11 Cashmere Blue which was used to make the Xs & Os, but Jamisons Lagoon would work if you dont want to switch wools). I was determined to use a bazillion blueslol! Knit Picks, Wool of the Andes, works too & they have a bazillion colors. Use what you can get mostly in one place.
