What materials did you use? granite rock, slate rock, found on hillsides. Mortar and sifted concrete. friends contributions, glass rocks, gems from broken jewelry, broken fountains,etc..

What are you most proud of? I am female, 4ft 9in.tall 100lbs. hear me roar. i broke every rock in this fall...

What advice would you give someone starting this project? retirement doesn't have to be dull. listen kindly to everybodies advise, but read up on all pond, fountain and any litature you can find. and do it your way, it truly saves time.

Wow-your waterfall gives me a happy feeling-I'm sending the link to my son's girlfriend, she loves fairy houses and will love this. What a delightful solution to a really annoying problem!

its a real waterfall just won't hold water yet, but thats ok, it's not a mosquito pond when not in use! and i finally found the leak, a weed is growing in the bottom.

I see no sides on either side of the falls. How is the water contained without "falling" out and off the side edges as it falls step by step down to the bottom?
