Materials
granite rock, slate rock, found on hillsides. Mortar and sifted concrete. friends contributions, glass rocks, gems from broken jewelry, broken fountains,etc..
What was your inspiration?
rain water was going off patio under trailer, and the trailer was starting to sink. now i put in a gutter to the waterfall pond and direct rain water away from trailer. it has taken me 2 1/2 yrs. slowly working on it. it will never be done allways a work in progress.
What are you most proud of?
I am female, 4ft 9in.tall 100lbs. hear me roar. i broke every rock in this fall...
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
retirement doesn't have to be dull. listen kindly to everybodies advise, but read up on all pond, fountain and any litature you can find. and do it your way, it truly saves time.
