What materials did you use? This quilt started out as a vintage tablecloth. I hand appliqued english paper pieced dresden fans in the center of the cloth, added cotton fabric borders, also appliqued with more fans. The fans are made of a variety of non-traditional fabrics: silk, satin, brocades etc.

Beautiful quilting and applique'... It looks like it's hanging at a show, did you win a ribbon? If not, those judges must be crazy! I'm going to Cindy's blog now to see if you sent her any info there...
