Materials
Solid cotton fabric and cotton fabrics with pattern in white, blue and green. Linen fabric, which I have shrunk to a tighter weave. Polyester tread, champagne and white. Thin batting for cloths. DMC Mouline Special, blue, for the embroidery.
What was your inspiration?
I found the wise words in Pinterest and used it for the Embroidery. Elisabeth Hartman inspired me of course in this course. I have watched the movies many times before I could decide what fabric I would use. I like the use of solid fabrics and the geometric designs a lot and it goes along with the Swedish home style in a good way.
What are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of my Embroidery. I tore it up and on the fourth attempt, I was pleased . :)) I'm also proud of my quilting. I've never tried this geometric pattern before, but I like it very much.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Try a small project when you're learning a new technique. You can do several of them and maybe give it away to a dear friend.
