What was your inspiration?
Although I use my iphone for everything, I still like to have a pad of paper handy. I guess it is a habit that dies hard. I love journals, and wanted to make a cover that could be used over and over.
What are you most proud of?
I like the closure on the covers. The "belt" fastens with velcro and keeps everything nicely closed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The sample shown is using a 4 X 6 notepad. I make them for the 3 X 5 size too, and there really isn't any reason you could not use something larger. Once you get the dimensions for your fabric and foam boards figured out, the hard part is done.
