What was your inspiration?
Grand daughter must wear eye patch -- why not make it an accessory? Also, her sisters needed a corresponding gift so I made matching hair clips they can all share.
What are you most proud of?
They like them! And my daughter raved about them - that's the big reward. When she doesn't need the patches any more, she can use them as headbands.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go small --- I made these a little big but it completely covers the gauze square underneath so I guess that works.
