What was your inspiration?
I started with a rough piece of labradorite, ground it, shaped it & polished it into the finished cabochon you see. I knew it had to have the beautiful gemstone inside. Then it demanded an elegant wrap to bring out the absolute best in it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't start with anything as expensive as this stone, but don't be afraid to take chances & let your imagination run wild.
