What was your inspiration?
Amy's class and wonderful instructions and enthusiasm. Thank you. You're such a great instructor and so easy to follow.
What are you most proud of?
I'm most pleased with the way that the finished product turned out. Although I do sew a lot, I tend to only use my serger for the same things and while doing this course, Amy inspired me to use it for something a bit more creative. I've had my machine for so long and never really given it a chance to shine...but now I feel inspired to use it for more decorative things. The course also really taught me so much about my machine and I'm so thankful for that. I quilted the outside of the fabric to the batting for extra texture and this gave it a lovely finish. I am intending to put something dangly on the zipper pull tab.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Nothing is too hard, and you CAN do it. Just take your time and believe in your abilities.
I had no idea when i showed other people my new bag that ...they will all want one too ! lol. Now i'm super busy ! But loving it.
