What are you most proud of? That it looks good, but it is only the first thing I ever serged.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? View the entire set of videos for making the project first. I had to pin the zipper on four times before I got it right, because I was trying to watch and do at the same time.

Beautiful! I'm sure your swap partner will love it. If pinning the zipper gave you a bit of trouble, you may want to try out Wash-Away Wonder Tape. You can use it to hold the zipper in place (instead of pins) while you sew, and it won't gum up your needles. Now... I need some pumpkin pie! ;)
