What are you most proud of? I'm most proud of not throwing out my serger in a fit of rage, lol. The zipper insert was difficult with my presser foot pushing out the zipper on the Husqvarna Huskylock S15 despite lowering the presser foot pressure, I just used my sewing machine instead for that part. This is my first ever sewing project since grade 7 so I'm very happy with what I've achieved! :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you can't get the zipper right then there is no shame using your sewing machine! This was my first project so I had learned to cut on the side of my scrap fabric when using my rotary cutter. Going amiss on the side I need to use taught me a lesson quickly! ;)

You first sewing project since grade 7?! Wow! You did a great job for tackling this bag as your first project in many years. I hope you enjoyed it and will return to sewing (and use your serger more). You chose really cute colors!
