some times accidents can actually work out for the best ! I just might copy what you did if you dont mind. Great idea for those curling irons when traveling... and they are still warm when I toss it in my suitcase.

Oh I definitely don't mind :) Good thinking, the bag will come in handy when the iron is still warm, giving it an extra layer around it!

I've seen several students make the longer bag for knitting needles. It's perfect for a curling iron! The pink one is really cute with the pop of yellow from the zipper. Very nice job!

what size siper did you use for the longer bag ??? Will an 18 in work ?

Hi Jill, yes I used an 18" zipper for the long bag...I thought it worked well :)
