What materials did you use? For palette 1 I chose bright true colors from the entire color wheel because this is what I love to use to make scrappy quilts. I love to use batiks, tonals and various print sizes, as long as they fit the scheme. I don't like things too uniform. For palette 2 I chose greyed, pastel, and less saturated colors, browns, olives, and some novelty prints that I would not be likely to use, except perhaps in very small amounts, or as accent fabrics.

Did you end up liking your second palette any better after you worked with it?

Very pretty 1st palette. So bright! I would only use those colors as the accent :)

I like both your palettes! #1 is my favourite, even though I don't use many of those saturated colours myself. Lovely and cheerful - they made me smile!
