What materials did you use? Quilting cottons

Wow, I didn't realize just how much I don't like these colors until I put them all together in one block and I actually felt a little nauseous staring at them. Did anyone else have that reaction to their "less comfortable" colors? They're all fairly muted, with a lot of gray undertones. Yuck.

To me, they are happy colors. I see the pink, yellow and green. The thing that I really noticed was they are larger print. Perhaps that is what you don't like.

I had the same feeling about mine...they were dull colors in small prints. Since they came from my stash, I obviously liked them at some point, and I could see using them IN MODERATION with other colors from my "likeable" palette, LOL.

Seems like more of an unhappy combination of fabrics. The top row is really nice.

Consider putting some of the dull colors with bright and see if you like them better.

That turquoise really pops. I like your second pallet best.
