What was your inspiration?
I have always admired art quilts but I was stuck in the land of tradition, I have tried many times to get out of the box, but I never was happy with what I had created. After looking at many art quilt blogs and watching Wendy Butler Bern's, Art Quilting 101, I finally went on an excursion of which I am very proud.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is a labor of love and, like giving birth, it requires patience and effort. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy to attain. Just keep trying!
