What are you most proud of? I finished a throw size quilt, my first one! It's a gift for my better half :)

Talk about a labor of Love. Your creation is very pretty & very well done. I also like the pieced binding. Thank you for sharing.

I was really apprehensive of quilting. Thank you :)

I am absolutely in awe of this! It's beautiful - and you've done something right that even people here in the United Kingdom get wrong so often - you've got all the flags the right way up!!!! I'm always seeing Union Flags upside down in this country! Brilliant! Well done you!

When I was making the pattern, I very quickly found out that the flag is not symmetric. I am really glad you like it! Thank you :)

I imagine you know that it's made up of the cross of St Andrew (for Scotland) at the back, superimposed by the cross (or saltire) of St Patrick (for Ireland) with the cross of St George (for England) on the top. Goodness knows why Wales isn't included, but Wales has a really beautiful flag showing a red Welsh Dragon on a red and green background. If I were Welsh I'd be very proud of that one too!

Sorry - I meant green and white background (got carried away there!).
