What was your inspiration?
Looking out my window to see snow dusted evergreens in the Cascades and feeling holiday cheer in every store I've visited recently.
What are you most proud of?
I think the photo doesn't do this beret justice. It doesn't convey the softness or the tiny curly kid mohair loops that are such a nice contrast to the shinier gold sparkles. I like how the beading above the roll brim stands out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to combine a crazy blend of yarns. You may be pleasantly surprised.
