Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

I used Lizbeth thread no 20

What was your inspiration?

Just another gorgeous pattern, I did make the bottom a little longer and then it went a little off one side but I think it would have stayed together if I had added a picot in the middle of bottom line, its a pattern I will be doing again, as it is a lovely cross

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Its a lovely pattern well worth having a go to tat, I think you will fall in love with it.

The red rose looks so nice with the white cross. I agree that an extra joining picot would keep the lower part together. On the original pattern the bottom was not as long, so it didn't seem to need joining. But, it may straighten out alright with steam blocking.

Thank you. Next time I will make a join when I make it longer on the bottom.
