Entrelac Neckwarmer

My First try at Entrelac

My First try at Entrelac

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Entrelac Knitting »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Casual, Classic

Materials

I used standard worsted weight acrylic yarn.

What was your inspiration?

I was inspired by Spring and Summer colors in my garden!

What are you most proud of?

I like the overall effect of the colors and how they blended with each other!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The biggest thing I would advise folks new to entrelac to do is to not be afraid to pull out errors and start over. The more you do this the more you will be satisfied with your efforts.

By the way... It was the 70s pattern that was confusing me, not this course. I have thoroughly enjoyed making my own piece with Gwen Bortners instructions.

I love the colours, they are the same colours I used for my 1st and only previous entrelac piece, a sweater for my sister in the 70s! I was enthralled and intrigued as I doggedly followed the confusing pattern but loved it. Well done it looks great!
