Thanks to both of you! I wasn't going to bother with blocking but maybe I will try that! Thanks again for a great course! I have already started another one, this time with a hand painted cotton yarn from florafil.

Blocking will often help the "messy" stitch as will knitting in both directions, not tugging on the first/last stitch and practicing keeping the tension even along the selvedge edges. But honestly, it looks great!

Gwen, you're right....it does look great! Sometimes we knitters/crocheters are very hard on ourselves. I'm not even sure what messy stitches she is talking about! I love it!
