What was your inspiration?

This project was specifically designed for the Craftsy course, Entrelac Knitting as a fun, but easy way to learn the basics of entrelac.

What are you most proud of?

You can make this project multiple times because it makes a great gift. And each time you can play and experiment with different yarns to see how they behave within the entrelac fabric.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Start at the beginning of the course and just work through it step-by-step. But most importantly, don't try to make it hard, the technique is deceptively simple.

I finally downloaded the class and LOVED everything! I was intimidated by it at first so I procrastinated starting. But I am SO excited to do it now! I am working on a different project right now and am about to put it on hold. Lol Thank you Gwen for expanding my technical skills! (=D)

I have finished three using Gwen as my teacher in her Entralac class, she is great, starting the scarf next. Just got her book yesterday, wish I had her by my side telling me what to do step by step for some of those lovely patterns!

I love the colors the greens with the purples! I have the Ultimate Knitting Machine and I have directions to do entreloc knitting on it , but I'm having a hard time following the directions. I was thinking to learn it by handknitting it first.

I think understanding the construction via the handknitting method makes visusalizing the machine knitting method much easier!

OMG! This is addictive! I love this scarf/cowl/Neck warmer! It is coming out Beautiful. However, I cannot follow directions..... I used sock yarn and size 5 needles! (giggle, giggle)

Entrelac is so easy. I just love doing it. This neck warmer is so neat as it looks just like several different colors all entwined. Great project!
