What was your inspiration?
I wanted to use the leftover yarn from my Neck Warmer (that I made from a Craftsy class) and thought a matching hat would be fun.
What are you most proud of?
That I got it completed! I cast on 3 times before I got the gauge correct. Then I misread the pattern and did the entire first row of diamonds incorrectly and had to un-knit those to do that row over! I did, eventually, get it right, though.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you pay attention to the directions regarding the last row of each diamond. You will thank yourself later, believe me! :-)
