Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Entrelac Knitting »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Unisex

Style: Outdoorsy, Whimsical, Mod, Casual

Materials

KnitPicks Wool of the Andes 1 skein Avocado and 1 skein Currant

What was your inspiration?

This was the first lesson in the Craftsy Course on Entrelac Knitting. I had a little leftover yarn from the Crazy Lace sweaters that I made, and I thought this was a great way to use them up and learn something new at the same time.

What are you most proud of?

I learned how to knit backwards, and I perfected picking up stitches both knitwise and purlwise.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a lot of fun, quick to make, and looks a lot more difficult than it is. Jump in and try this technique.
