This is a wonderful example of the cape project and I too love your choice on the button loops. I also find the color very appealing. What yarn did you use? Nice job!

Thank you so much Gwen! I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in "The L" and "Motherlode" colorways :-) Probably one of the most expensive yarns I've used thus far ...hehe it was quite the treat to knit this!

I basically just modified Gwen Bortner's cape pattern slightly...I chose to finish the trim and button loops with and i-cord border...hence the i-cord loops I created with ease :O) Here is a link to the tutorial that helped me learn how to do i-cord borders ...hope this is helpful--let me know if you need anything else ;)
