I didn't see it as a turtle when I first looked - it seemed to me to be a really lovely, unusual, modern pattern - but now I see the turtle, it takes on a whole new meaning! It's terrific - love it!

I enjoyed this paper piecing project. (I am not so much of a fan of other paper piecing techniques). I was able to utilize my down time at our local Quilt Show doing the hand work. I'm rather partial to frogs and turtles so I guess my thoughts just went to them automatically. Thanks Amy for your wonderful class and super instructions.
