Paper Piecing those tiny little parallelograms for the center

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Not for the faint of heart, but looks good once it's done.

Oh, THAT is just a BRILLIANT adaptation of the hexagon flower!!! I'm REALLY IMPRESSED!!! From one Lindie Lee to another (actually Linda Lee, but my dad called me Lindie Lee when I was little, and my nephew called me Auntie Linnee when he was little. Linda Lee was taken when I signed up, so I chosed Linnee for my sign in name).
