I used 2" hexagon and 2" pentagon paper pieces. Cut out 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons and just sewed them together using the Eng paper piecing method.Difficulty:

I was inspired by Amy Gibson's "free" Craftsy class on Eng paper piecing. My granddaughter plays soccer and I thought it would be fun to see if I could make her a soccer ball ( in school colors) for her friends to sign in honor of her birthday. It was really fun watching it come together
What are you most proud of?
First, that it actually worked and second, I finished it!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It really went together easily except for the last piece when the ball was stuffed.
