What was your inspiration?

This quilt was made for my friend and dog breeder as payment for my puppy, Daphne. The center of the quilt represents the show ring.

What are you most proud of?

The dog applique in the center came out really well.

I like your colors and the arrangement of the blocks making smaller panels around the center. I'm keeping this quilt in mind for my future quilts. Thanks

I love it! I need to make a quilt as a raffle item for a basset hound specialty show and I've been trying to come up with ideas. Did you draw the applique or was there a pattern somewhere? Hope you are enjoying your puppy!!

Do you know the Rushworths? They are also in Basset Hounds and I know she did something for the Nationals. I just took an outline of a gaiting ECS and made my applique from that. I made one for the National a few years back with a big applique in the center . That one was a stacked version.. My puppy is now 3! We also have her uncle who is 6. Both are blue roan.
